About Us

The Endangered Species Print Project (ESPP) was conceived in 2009 by two artists; Jenny Kendler and Molly Schafer.  As ESPP we also created the first series of art for The Endangered Species Condom Project, winner of 2 Addy Awards & featured in the New York Times.

Endangered Species Print Project is a labor of love in it's 8th year!

Molly Schafer is the human behind the project; serving as artist, blogger, director/co-creator and shipping department. phew!

Historically ESPP was conceived in 2009 by two artists; Jenny Kendler and Molly Schafer. Together we toiled away drawing lemurs when we were supposed to be focusing on our real jobs, oops. We started ESPP so we could lend our artistic talents to the wildlife conservation cause and many artists have joined with us along the way.

Our mission is to create images that have a positive impact on conservation efforts while giving artists a chance to have a positive impact on an issue they deeply care about.

If you are interested in partnering with ESPP, looking to commission awesome visuals for your conservation campaign, or want to tell me about your conservation work please get in touch with Molly via email to: espp at endangeredspeciesprintproject.com or visit us on facebook and instagram.

Even more about ESPP:

The Endangered Species Print Project (ESPP) was conceived in 2009 by two artists; Jenny Kendler and Molly Schafer.  As ESPP we also created the first series of art for The Endangered Species Condom Project, winner of 2 Addy Awards & featured in the New York Times. Over 450,000 endangered species condoms featuring our artwork have been given out nationwide.  The ESPP logo features Lonesome George, the last Pinta Island tortoise who passed away in 2012.
